Activity of free economic zones of the Republic of Tajikistan

For today, 71 domestic and foreign companies havebeen registered as subjects of the FEZ.

At the same time, 1046 people work in the FEZ ofthe Republic of Tajikistan. Of the total number of employees, 456 relate to theFEZ «Dangara», 519 to the FEZ «Sughd», 49 to the FEZ «Panj», and 22 to the FEZ «Ishakashim».

It should be noted that in 2018, industrial products were produced for theamount of 141.7 million somoni from them 116.1 million somoni inthe FEZ «Sughd»,25.3million somoni the FEZ «Dangara», 0.293million somoni in FEZ «Panj» and 0.036million somoni in FEZ «Ishkoshim». Sincethe beginning of the activity of freeeconomic zones in the volume of industrial products, the provision of servicesand import-export operations amounted to 514.9 million somoni.

The volume of direct investment in the free economic zones of the country in 2018 reached 59.5 million somoni. The main share of the assigned investments belong to the free economic zone «Sughd» 19 million somoni and Dangara 36.8 million somoni. In general, since the beginning of the activity of the free economic zones, direct investment amounted to 1.72 billion somoni.
