International investment Forum “Pamirinvest-2019”

On August 6, 2019, within the framework of the «Pamirinvest-2019» International Investment Forum, under the chairmanship of the head of the Main Department for Investment Policy and Regional Development Nasredinova Rukhshona a panel on the topic: “Free economic zones as a factor in accelerating the industrialization of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held.

The panel was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and departments, the executive body of the state power of GBAO, representatives of international organizations, the diplomatic corps, foreign and domestic entrepreneurs, a total of more than 40 people.

Within the framework of this panel for participants was presented the state of socio – economic development of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous region, the possibility of free economic zones and a short film.

The purpose of this forum create favorable conditions for dialogue and acquaintance, expansion of cooperation and support of relations between representatives of state bodies, local private sector, as well as foreign investors and on this basis to develop proposals for strengthening activities, improvement of legal acts of the regions and finding ways to solve existing shortcomings.
