Activity of free economic zones of the Republic of Tajikistan
At the same time, 1046 people work in the FEZ of the Republic of Tajikistan. Of the total number of employees, 407 relate to the FEZ «Dangara», 599 FEZ «Sughd», 52 FEZ «Panj», and 14 FEZ «Ishakashim».
It should be noted that in 2019, industrial products were produced for the amount of 200,83 million somoni from them 163,2 million somoni in the FEZ «Sughd», 36,8 million somoni the FEZ «Dangara», 0,8 million somoni in FEZ «Panj» and 0,03 million somoni in FEZ «Ishkoshim». Since the beginning of the activity of free economic zones in the volume of industrial products, the provision of service sand import-export operations amounted to 711,7 million somoni.
The volume of direct investment in the free economic zones of the country in 2019 reached 146,5 million somoni. The main share of the assigned investments belong to the free economic zone «Sughd» 9,5 million somoni and Dangara 129,2 million somoni.
